عدّل البرلمان المادة 7 من National Education Law No. 1/2011 ليحظر، في كل المؤسسات التعليمية، “all activities aimed at spreading the theory or opinion of gender identity, understood as the theory or opinion that gender is a concept different from biological sex and that the two are not always the same.” رأت CCR Decision No. 907 of 16 December 2020 (الإنجليزية؛ Monitorul Oficial No. 68 / 21 يناير 2021) أن المادة 7(1)(e) الجديدة غير دستورية. كُتب الحظر. محته المحكمة.
