2016 年 1 月 22 日，Narodne novine 公布衛生部長採納嘅 Stručne smjernice（NN 7/2016）：關於改變性別或者以另一個性別認同生活嘅意見，同埋對有性別焦慮嘅人嘅健康同心理社會照護嘅專家指引。文本倚靠 WPATH SOC7 作為「gold standard」，將兒童同青少年納入評估，又將另一個性別嘅荷爾蒙視為醫療選項，一旦當事人被轉介到部長專家名單上嘅內分泌科醫生。
