A ameaça de suicídio é a tática número um que médicos ativistas, políticos e entidades médicas usam há anos para comprar apoio à transição infantil.
Chegam a dizer aos pais que podem ter uma filha morta ou um filho vivo. Isso é manipulação coercitiva e uma mentira desprezível.
Os fatos estão aí. O suicídio consumado é, felizmente, raro, e não se demonstrou que a transição médica pediátrica previna o suicídio.
Leia o gráfico, não um muro de links. Estudos de jovens não são estudos de adultos. Uma pesquisa sobre tentativas de suicídio não é uma contagem de mortes por suicídio.

In U.S. v. Skrmetti oral argument (Dec 4, 2024), ACLU attorney Chase Strangio told Justice Alito there is no evidence in the studies that gender-affirming treatment reduces completed suicide, and that completed suicide is “thankfully and admittedly” rare — while distinguishing that from “suicidality.”

Across three models (difference-in-differences, Callaway–Sant’Anna DiD, and a national time-series), there was no statistically significant increase in teen suicide rates. The claim that these bans cause a spike in teen suicides is not supported by the data.
