I’m a father of two girls and I decided to take a stand against gender ideology. Children should be free to be who they are — not indoctrinated to believe they were born in the wrong body.
Puberty blockers are the first step in a medical pathway that brings physical harm to children. We are lied to about the effects of these drugs, and the cross-sex hormones which almost always follow.
As the High Court in England laid out, children cannot give informed consent to these harmful, life-altering drugs.
Our politicians refuse to listen, and our media refuse to report, so I’m having conversations all across the world, one person at a time.
What are puberty blockers?
Puberty blockers are drugs which, like the name says, completely block puberty from occurring.
They are prescribed to healthy children at the onset of puberty, known as Tanner Stage 2, when these children have been deceived into believing that they were ‘born in the wrong body’ and that they are ‘transgender.’
The idea is that it would be too traumatic for these distressed children to grow into a man or a woman, so gender doctors use this drug — which was originally intended for prostate cancer, and is used to chemically castrate sex offenders — to keep children looking neutral.
They follow up puberty blockers with cross-sex hormones. Surgeries — primarily double mastectomies on girls — are done on children as well in various jurisdictions across the world.
We’ve always used gender as a synonym for sex, but today’s radicals consider gender to be a social construct. They believe gender to be nothing more than a feeling — a feeling that is ultimately based on regressive, sex-based stereotypes.
The fact of the matter is we don’t have a gender. Certainly not as today’s Left defines it.
There are two sexes, zero genders, and infinite personalities! And personalities don’t require a sex change!
The positive, affirming message we should be sending our children is that they are beautiful just as they are — no drugs or scalpels needed!
All of the systematic reviews that have been done into pediatric medical transition reveal there is no evidence or extremely low quality evidence for transitioning kids. Contrast that with the grave, irreversible harms we know are occurring, and it is crystal clear that this child abuse needs to be banned, worldwide.
And that is what I am working to accomplish, one conversation at a time.
What is gender ideology?
Gender ideology is a quasi-religious movement which claims that children can be born in the wrong body.
It claims that we all have a ‘gender identity’ which takes precedence over our biological sex.
It is entirely based on stereotypes. Children are taught that it is personality, jobs, hobbies,, likes, dislikes, roles, and expectations which determine their gender.
