Bulgaria wrote a school statute.
The 50th National Assembly adopted the amendment on 7 August 2024. It was promulgated in State Gazette No. 69 of 16 August 2024 (also on the Assembly decisions page). Article 11(2) of the Preschool and School Education Act now forbids, in the preschool and school system, propaganda, popularisation, or incitement — directly or indirectly — of ideas and views related to “non-traditional sexual orientation” and/or determining a gender identity different from biological sex.
That is a Schools ban.
