The public pediatric gender-clinic pathway starts hormonal treatment for under-18s after a mental-health letter.
The official Ministry of Health service page בקשת אישור הוועדה לשינוי מין לביצוע ניתוח (updated 17 August 2025) is the sex-reassignment surgery committee. Applicants must be 18 on first approach. The committee may require a course of hormone treatment before surgery. Approved surgeries sit in the health basket for those eligible.
