On 5 June 2026 the Justice Department announced another resolution from its national investigation into sex-rejecting procedures on minors. Cleveland Clinic Foundation agreed, with DOJ and the Ohio Attorney General, to a decades-long commitment not to perform or offer those procedures on minors — including puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.
The official press release: Cleveland Clinic “will pay $308,000 to resolve allegations” of false billings to public and private payors. It also committed $2 million to restorative care for people harmed by those interventions as children, regardless of insurance or ability to pay. DOJ says the Clinic cooperated.
Same page, same day: “The claims resolved by the United States in the settlements are allegations only, and there has been no determination of liability. Cleveland Clinic has denied all allegations.” The procedures on kids stop anyway.
This follows the 15 May Texas Children’s resolution.
