Canberra Health Services’ Paediatric Gender Service provides multidisciplinary care for trans and gender-diverse children and young people up to 18, with referral generally below 16 and resident in the ACT. The service’s own list of medical pathways includes puberty blockers, hormones, and menstrual management where it judges that clinically appropriate and in line with the young person’s goals. It does not provide surgery.
