Perth Children’s Hospital’s Gender Diversity Service is a specialist outpatient service for children and adolescents up to 18 who live in Western Australia. The multidisciplinary team includes psychiatry, psychology, endocrinology, gynaecology, nursing, and speech therapy. The hospital’s own list of what families may seek includes assessment and approval for medical intervention for teenagers, where the service judges that appropriate.
